Well that didn't take me long to do, putting up my first card. Just thought I would give you a taste of things to come.
This card was so simple to make, I used a digi stamp I bought from Meljen's Designs, and printed it out, I coloured it in using my Promarker pens, I then used a clear Sakura glitter pen and water brush to paint the wings to give them a soft glittery shine. I also used Stickles in the Crystal colour to highlight areas on the image. The bottle holding the firefly I used 3d Crystal Lacquer, which is my preferred glaze at the moment.
I then added some small green pearl embellishments from my stash, and mounted the image on some gold mirri board. I did some faux stitching around the edge of the image card to complete the topper.
I used a large square card and covered it with a spotty green backing paper, a freebie from GTC's Crafty Corner, which I also faux stitched around the edge. I used double sided tape to stick the topper directly onto the card at a jaunty angle because it looked right, and there it was my card was complete. I hope you like it.
I live near Peterborough in Cambridgeshire. I have enjoyed crafting for a long time, and started messing around with digital images in 2009. I love Card Making and started a new hobby (to me) Jewellery Making in 2012.
I have one husband Stuart, and three dogs, Busta, Kayper and Welly and the latest addition to our family is Darwin the African Grey Parrot.
I just wanted to say that I am not affiliated to any of the Craft Shops, Persons or Blogs (except of course GTC's Crafty Corner) that I mention on this Blog... I wish I were lol.
All Craft Materials and Tools are my personal likes, and none are sponsored by anyone else. I say what I personally like, and if you know better ways of doing things then please let me know. I would love to hear from you.
